Midnight Verse

Midnight Verse — A Garden in Thread

Flowers unfold in embroidered rows, with delicate Taarkashi tracing its way between them. Midnight Verse brings these two forms of handwork together on wool-blend fabric, creating a shawl whose beauty lies in both the sweeping pattern and the smallest stitch.

Each cross-stitch flower is built through repeated, careful movements. Alongside it, the fine openwork demands another kind of precision. Carrying both techniques across the shawl takes patience, skilled hands and sustained attention—the work becomes more apparent the closer you look.

Draped over a silk ensemble for a celebration or worn with a simple outfit for an evening out, Midnight Verse makes the embroidery the centre of attention. A considered piece for someone who values the human effort behind what they wear.
