A Garden of Stitches — Hand-Embroidered Merino Wool Shawl

Months of handwork, held in a single shawl. Flowers and leafy vines spread across ivory Merino wool, each formed from small crossed stitches. The beauty catches your eye first; a closer look reveals the patience, precision and extraordinary human effort behind it.

Handwoven in Islampur, Swat, and hand-embroidered in South KPK, Pakistan, this piece brings together the skill of weavers and embroiderers. Completing just one takes months of dedicated work—a meaningful choice for someone who appreciates the hands and time behind what they wear.

Drape it over a plain silk suit to give the embroidery room to shine, or pair it with an understated formal outfit for wedding receptions, Eid visits and winter dinners. It makes a treasured addition to a bridal trousseau, a thoughtful anniversary gift, or a personal keepsake for a lover of craft. A shawl to wear, care for and bring out for years of occasions.
